Traffic congestion caused rising tension between Alabang Village residents and San Beda College Alabang

Anonymous Facebook user call out the Mayor of Muntinlupa Ruffy Biazon regarding the issue between the Alabang Village residents and San Beda College Alabang. The user mentioned how the guards of Alabang Village have been hostile to parents and students of San Beda Alabang. The guards also force them to pay and buy village stickers even though they have the sticker from San Beda, and it mentioned in the post that Alabang Village residents own the Don Manolo as their personal road.

The Metro Pacific Health Dr. Benjamin G. Co former homeowner’s association board denied these claims and asserted the rights of the residents of the village to manage its property.

“Since you want to take it to social media, I will take this issue to social media as well. It is not true that AHV is hostile to the students and parents. Remember that this is a private village. You have no right to tell us what to or what not to do. You choose to have your kids’ study in this school,” Co said on Facebook.

The main issue is the heavy traffic on Don Manolo Boulevard, the village’s main exit and Co stated that it is worsening the traffic because of the school expansion without any proper parking facilities. Co also criticized the San Beda for their refusal in negotiating the issue.
