The USA men’s basketball team won 5 consecutive gold medals since the 2008 Beijing Olympics. With a roster that included some of the biggest names in the NBA and against the most competitive field ever, Team USA wrapped out their Olympic career in 2024 in Paris with yet another gold medal, making them five in a row.
The team won the gold medal game at Bercy Arena, defeating France 98-87, because of the outstanding play of big star players of the NBA, LeBron James, Stephen Curry, and Kevin Durant.
Since then, the outstanding US men’s basketball team since the 1963 Berlin Olympics were 17 golds, 1 silver, and 2 bronze medals
