The Film Academy of the Philippines (FAP) announced that the documentary ‘And So It Begins’ was submitted as the official entry for the 97th Academy Awards under the Best International Feature category on Wednesday, September 25.
FAP special officer Raymond Diamzon released photos of the documentary’s director Ramona Diaz showing her acceptance of a certificate that formally acknowledges ‘And So It Begins’ as the country’s official entry to the 2025 Oscars.
In his Facebook post, the caption wrote “The Film Academy of the Philippines is pleased to proclaim ‘And So It Begins’ by Ramona S. Diaz as the Philippines’ entry to the 97th Academy Awards! Congratulations!”
