Olivia Rodrigo fulfilled her ‘dream’ to play a show in the Philippines

The pop singer Olivia Rodrigo was thrilled after holding her recent “Silver Star show” in Bulacan and having the chance to connect with her Filipino roots again, along with other experiences.

Rodrigo shared on her Instagram account on Sunday, October 6 a message to her Filipino fans and her chosen organization to where the funds of her concert will go. The concert was held at the Philippine Arena last October 5.

Her caption wrote, “Been dreaming of this show for a whileeeee. My first time in the Philippines and also my biggest venue ever!!!!! Thank you to everyone [in] Manila for welcoming me so generously and making me feel so loved… I’m SO stoked that all the net ticket sales from last night could be donated to @jhpiego through my fund 4 good. I got to visit the organizations while I was in Manila and was so impressed by the work they are doing providing healthcare to women and girls in the Philippines. It was the most special show and the most meaningful trip. To say I’m grateful doesn’t even cut it! Mahal Kita.”

Aside from Rodrigo’s concert, she posted about her visit in a non-profit organization that is dedicated to providing and sustaining healthcare to women.

The concert was filled with energy as Rodrigo performed her hit songs “vampire,” “drivers license,” “all american b—ch,” “bad idea right?,” “traitor,” “teenage dream,” and “ballad of a homeschooled girl,” among many others.
