Quezon City – the shooting of a man and abduction of a woman follows up a continuous relentless manhunt and rescue operations involving the National Bureau of Investigation on June 10.
The operatives of the National Bureau of Investigation-Homicide Division (NBI-HD), together with NBI-Organized and Transnational Crime Division (NBI-OTCD), and the NBI – Public Corruption Division (NBI-PCD) arrested ex-PDL Raymond David Reyes, Correction Officer PIO Jonathan Aniero Eulalio, and identified Vergel Burata Olanda as the conspirator on July 11 and July 12.
The body of the man found was named Christian Razon Ortega and the girl abducted was later on named Gloria Razon Ortega. The cadaver of Gloria was seen on the muddy ravine, beside a dump site in Talahiban, Sta. Cruz, Maynila.
According to the press statement released by the NBI on July 26, Director Santiago reported around 2:45 in the morning of July 10, the victims were seen inside the L300 Van roaming around the street of L.R. Pascual, Barangay Baesa in Quezon City while the perpetrators blocked their way, riding a Black Fortuner along Lucas R. Pascual Elementary School.
Christian tried to escape but the perpetrators fired gunshots toward the victim, while Gloria was abducted and robbed of her wallet with PHP 100,000 cash as the syndicates traveled around Pampanga, Tagaytay, and Laguna.
Later that afternoon, the assailants asked for a ransom money of P 5 million to release Gloria, as NBI continued operations to find the victim.
It did not take long for the perpetrators to kill Gloria and dispose of her body at the ravine dump site.
The NBI closed the investigation by performing DNA analysis, as it positively identified the two suspects.
