Marcos won’t leave comments on Duterte’s drug war admissions

Yesterday, President Marcos declined to respond to a question concerning former President Rodrigo Duterte, emphasizing his priority on rebuilding areas affected by Severe Tropical Storm Kristine.

A reporter in Laurel, Batangas, questioned Marcos about Duterte’s “admissions” under a Senate probe into the latter’s infamous drug campaign during his presidency.

“I’m not going… I don’t want to talk about… I need to talk about what’s happened here,” Marcos stated in an interview.

“And you’ve seen how badly the infrastructure has been damaged. And that’s what we should pay attention to. Then, there’s the livelihood,” the President added.
