The immigration lookout bulletin order (ILBO) has been issued to Former presidential spokesperson Harry Roque and 11 others are believed to be connected to the raided Philippine Offshore Gaming Operator (POGO) hub in Porac, Pampanga.
In the said ILBO that was filed to Roque; former Technology and Livelihood Resource Center (TLRC) deputy director general Dennis Cunanan; Cassandra Li Ong, the authorized representative of the Porac POGO hub; among others.
The Department of Justice said in the order, that the gravity of the possible charges as well as the wide media coverage this past months may put the person of interest that was mentioned above may attemp themselves to be hard to reach in the process of investigation by leaving the country.
Roque on the other hand said that the order was “plain harassment” and was used to silence him as a critic of this administration. He also said that there is no reason for him to leave the Philippines and that he will face all the accusations and answer all the allegations related to offshore gaming.
Justice spokesperson Mico Clavano stressed that the ILBO was only a “monitoring mechanism” and it doesn’t mean that the person under investigation cannot leave the country – that the immigration will be alerted if they will leave or enter the country.
