A Filipina racing driver Bianca Bustamante who recently raced for RT Grand Prix in F1 academy is the first female that was welcomed into the McLaren Racing Driver Development Programme. At a very young age, she already achieved and gained a lot of accomplishments and awards in her driving career.
From racing multiple karting competitions to earning back-to-back success including the JR Asian Karting Open Championship and Petron Blaze 100 IAME Series Philippines in 2018 and 2019. She also secured top rookie honors in maiden W Series campaign, and she recently joined F1 Academy in 2023 for the inaugural season together with PREMA Racing.
Bianca stood strong by securing two wins in Valencia and Morza and finished two more podiums, Bustamante finished the race in seventh place overall in the Driver’s Standings.
After her competition, she visited the Philippines and held a meet and greet for all her Filipino fans who supported and will support her through her racing career. The event was a 3-day motorsport that had the theme “Race to Inspire”, it is a collaboration event with GoTyme Bank in SM Mall of Asia, Manila from August 9 to August 11.
