GMA Public Affairs premiers of their documentary entitled Lost Sabungeros are canceled due to “ security concerns”

The cancellation was announced on Sunday,  August 4.

The documentary film was scheduled to be screened on Thursday, August 8 at 5 pm at Ayala Malls Manila Bay Cinema 2 and on August 9, Friday at 5:30 pm at Cinema 8.

The aim of the documentation was to investigate and find the answers to the disappearance of over 30 sabungeros abducted in multiple events since 2021.

The highlight of the documentary film was the three whistleblowers who came forward to share their knowledge about the crimes allegedly committed by those who abducted the lost sabungeros.

According to Cinemalaya the film will be replaced by Kip Oebanda’s Balota on Thursday, August 8, also from GMA Pictures which starred Marian Rivera. However, organizers did not specify an alternative for the August 9 schedule.
