True public service knows no clock; it is a steadfast commitment to be present and proactive whenever a citizen is in need. Recognizing that medical emergencies and the loss of a loved one are among the most vulnerable moments in a person’s life, the City Government of Tanauan has reaffirmed its pledge to be a constant, reliable presence for its people, ensuring that no Tanaueño is left behind in times of medical or personal crisis.

As part of the continuous improvement of social services and the core advocacy of Mayor Sonny Perez Collantes, Vice Mayor Dodong Panganiban Ablao, and the City Council, the City Government of Tanauan recently formalized a strategic partnership through a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) signing with premier private hospitals and funeral service providers across the province of Batangas.

This initiative is designed to expand the reach of the city’s hospitalization and burial assistance programs. By integrating the resources of the LGU with the efficiency of the private sector, the city ensures that aid is not just promised, but promptly delivered.

Mayor Sonny emphasized that these partnerships are vital in bridging the gap between government resources and the urgent needs of the people. According to the local chief executive, a strong collaboration with the private sector is the key to providing “seamless, rapid, and efficient” service to every Tanaueño.

The city government has joined forces with the following institutions to guarantee quality care and dignified services for the community:

Healthcare Providers:
Tanauan Medical Center
The Paramount Medical Center
Metro Lipa Medical Center
N. L. Villa Memorial Medical Center
Mary Mediatrix Medical Center

Essential Partners:
Waltermart Tanauan
Funeral Services
Funeraria Luisa
Funeraria Bayrante

Through this reinforced coordination, Tanaueños can expect a more simplified process when seeking assistance. The MOA aims to eliminate unnecessary bureaucratic hurdles, allowing families to focus on recovery and honoring their loved ones without the added burden of complex paperwork during their time of grief or illness.

This move further solidifies the city government of Tanauan’s mission: to transform public service into a reliable safety net that is always within reach for those in need.
