Following a successful run in its first year, Miss World Philippines Batangas once again steps into the spotlight as they officially open the application for Batangueña beauties.
Entering 2026, the franchise will be led by Andy Caguitla and Erl Martin Vestidas, with one purpose in the forefront: to establish Beauty with a Purpose not just on the local stage but also on a national scale.
The organization had an impressive caliber of 2025 queens after crowning Nicole Kristine Lorzano, who concluded her run as a Top 10 Finalist in the Miss World Philippines, Carolyn Kean Tuquero, and Bea Sumulong.
They garnered strong backing not only for their transcendent beauty but also for the causes and character they showed throughout the competition.
As they seek successors, a bar has been set forth, one that goes beyond physical beauty and represents what an authentic Batanguena and Filipina queen can be and do.
In their application, the organization listed the following qualifications.
• Single and has never been married
• Has never given birth
• Between 17 and 28 years of age
• Minimum height of 164 centimeters
• Natural-born female and must be a citizen of the country
• Familiarity with her own locality in several matters such as culture, tradition, politics, trade, environment, problems, conflict, etc.
• Has good moral character
• Has not been convicted of any crime
• Has not participated in any obscene exhibitions, whether print, stage, television, or movies.
• Has not engaged in prostitution or any form thereof
They are additionally searching for sponsors who align with the goal of making a long-term impact across the province and the Philippines, as the purpose can only be fulfilled when it is shared and directed.
