Welcoming the month of October is more than merely a time for the 12th Misters of Filipinas Opening Night; it is a critical chance to push for good governance.
25 official candidates were given terms that dealt with the Philippines’ thorny matter of decades: corruption. The event is not limited to aesthetics, and carrying and raising the flag with seals does more than just introduce its identity; it also addresses the motivating factor behind the pageant, echoing the voices of the Filipino people through their statements.
Prime Event Productions Philippines Foundation Inc. (PEPPs) President Carlo Morris Galang recognized sponsors for their continued generosity and reflected on winning the first Mr. International and Manhunt International crowns 11 years ago.
“Naghahanap ako ng dahilan kung bakit ko pa ginagawa ito every year, and I think this is the main reason for doing this: to hear our voices, to hear the people’s voices, that Misters of Filipinas has something,” Galang said, emphasizing that while pageants and politics are conceptually separate, it is necessary to talk about both.
Jamila Paz, CEO of Jamila Aesthetics, expressed her solidarity, reminding the delegates that “This is just the beginning of your game.” Paz is the chairman of Man of the World and has been a pillar of support for male pageantry, believing that they need to be recognized in society.
JV Cruz, co-owner of Massage Luxe Spa, and Tony Hilden, Man of the World Finland 2026, both extended their warmest hopes to the candidates contending for the title.
Out of the 25, three were named Press Favorites: Jacob Kier Gomez from Tarlac Province, Oliver Eugen Kretz from Puerto Princesa, and Kristzan Karlo Delos Santos from Cavite.
Misters of Filipinas will hold its Creative Costume Competition on Thursday, October 9th, at 4:00 p.m. at Tanghalang Pasigueño in Pasig City, highlighting Filipino folklore, culture, and traditions. You can watch it live on Avietho Digital, Misters of Filipinas, and PEPPs TV.
