The representative of Bacoor, Victoria Velasquez Marquez, in this year’s Miss Universe Philippines 2024, was crowned as Miss Universe New Zealand 2024!
Victoria topped out 15 other candidates and will now go to Mexico on November 14 to represent her country at the Miss Universe 2024 pageant.
Earlier, she said she would compete in Miss Universe New Zealand 2024 in recognition of her dad’s heritage.
Victoria was given the opportunity to run for Miss Universe New Zealand in 2021, but she refused. She competed in the Miss Universe Philippines pageant the same year and won the Miss Universe Philippines Charity.
