The social media went crazy due to the ticket selling of Olivia Rodrigo’s concert in the Philippines that will be held on October 5, 2024.
This is the Grammy-winning singer-songwriter’s first concert in the Philippines at the 55,000 capacity Philippine Arena in Bulacan.
Filipino fans are excited and surprised to know that the concert ticket prices were set at an affordable PHP 1, 500, covering taxes and fees.
In addition, the profits from ticket sales will benefit Fund 4 Good, a non-profit organization formed by Olivia herself. It aims to “build an equitable and just future for all women, girls, and people seeking reproductive health freedom.”
On Saturday, it was estimated that 700,000 people waited in queues online to get tickets.
Another round of ticket sales will begin on September 29, letting fans buy tickets over the counter at SM Tickets outlets.
