Janine Gutierrez shines at her first Venice film festival

Actress Janine Gutierrez shares her excitement and pride as she made a memorable debut at the Venice Film Festival. 

Gutierrez expresses her enthusiasm to her instagram post that shows her excitement and pride about attending the festival for the first time, showcasing her experience through a captivating reel. 

In her post, Gutierrez expressed her enthusiasm with the caption, “Today was a dream come true!!!!! #VeniceFilmFestival #Venezia81 @labiennale @phantosmiafilm,”. The reel also includes highlights of her time at the festival, emphasizing the significance of her presence.

Gutierrez is at the festival to promote her latest project “Phantosmia”, a film directed by the renowned Lav Diaz. “Phantosmia” explores the psychological condition of the same name, where individuals experience phantom smells—odors that aren’t actually present—often as a result of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).

The Venice International Film Festival, which runs from August 28 to September 7, is known for its celebration of cinematic excellence and innovation. As one of the oldest and most prestigious film festivals, it provides a significant platform for filmmakers and actors from around the globe. 

In addition to her main post, the actress also shared some clips and pictures in her Instagram stories, capturing moments of joy and engagement with the festival’s vibrant atmosphere.
