For the first time in their history, The Akari Chargers secured a spot in the finals as they faced the Creamline Cool Smashers in the Championship match in PVL Reinforced Conference.The Chargers marked a heated controversy over a net touch call.
Oly Okaro, the import of the Chargers has been consistent in her performance contributing 39 points, 35 points for her attack and 4 blocks to clinch the win over the PLDT.

The Akari Changers will face the Creamline Cool Smashers at the Smart Araneta Coliseum on Wednesday, September 4.
