Team PH Paralympics wears Ditta Sandico

The 2024 Paralympics will start on August 28, followed by Team Philippines joining the groundbreaking event by six athletes competing in taekwondo, swimming, archery, and athletics in Paris.

Ditta Sandico created a woven structured custome that embodies the culture of Philippine fashion and cultural identity.

The women’s costume was crafted through symbolizing the color palettes of the Philippine flag.

According to Sandico, the silhouette draws inspiration from Maria Clara.

While men’s costume focused more on the bravery attire with intricate details of sustainable and ethical sourcing.

The para-athletes are expected to wear Ditta’s costume on the opening ceremonies along Champ-Élysées at the Palace de Concorde.
