Those planning to visit the Manila South Cemetery are encouraged to do so earlier today to avoid the expected large crowds tomorrow, November 1.
According to Henry Vulcan Dy, officer-in-charge of the Manila South Cemetery, approximately 500,000 people are expected to pay tribute to their departed in Manila’s largest cemetery on All Saints Day.
“‘Yung mga hindi pa nakadalaw, tomorrow is October 31. ‘Yung iba lalo ang mga senior citizen natin pwede na kayong pumunta bukas,” Dy said in an interview.
Dy urged visitors not to bring forbidden things into the cemetery. He also discouraged pet owners from bringing their dogs and cats.
The Manila South Cemetery opens from 5 a.m. to 7 p.m. until Sunday, November 3.
